Music gets even that most rigid colleague moving. We’ve all seen it. At the Christmas drinks party. He danced! Who would have thought? OK, it was a bit clunky and maybe alcohol played a part too, but still. Music got him off his chair. And everyone knows that, in his case, that is an almost impossible task.
How?
Well, at least not by forcing him, he acted completely on his own accord. No, all music did was invite him in. The safe private environment did the rest. (Oh yes, and the alcohol…)
But of course, that’s how it works. If you want to get people along, don’t impose obligations on them, but rather invite them to join in your rhythm, your melody and your positive energy.
